About Us
Both full and sessional day care is available for children aged 0 to 5 years, we open Monday to Friday 7.45am- 5.45pm closing all bank holidays and for two weeks over Christmas.
We aim to provide our children with a range of stimulating learning experiences in a safe, secure and happy environment.

Children and their parents influence learning through sharing information, and through our committee and being involved in decision making. This democratic process enables children to have their say in planning their learning, we promote our fundamental British Values on a daily basis, Rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs; to allow them to participate fully in and contribute positively to life in modern Britain.

Kiveton & Wales nursery is run by a voluntary committee consisting of parents, staff and other volunteers; every parent /carer has the opportunity to join our committee. Committee meetings are held termly and there is an annual General Meeting at the end of each year. All committee members have to complete a form from Ofsted (EY2) and must complete a DBS check. We are a registered charity (1036760) and are registered with Ofsted (EY536331).

Prior to becoming Kiveton & Wales nursery we were known as Kiveton and Wales Pre-School Daycare which was established in 1966.
Your child's Birthday
Here at nursery we love to help your child celebrate birthdays.
If you wish to send a cake with your child we will sing 'happy birthday' give a card and help your child to blow out the candles on their cake. We will cut it up for you and send it home with our children
